[壹八捌七] 是香港大學李嘉誠醫學院 (HKUMed) 的專屬餐廳，致敬 1887 年成立的香港西醫書院，為 HKUMed 教職員、學生與校友提供一個溫馨而高雅的聚會場所，傳承醫脈精神，促進交流與分享。
餐廳設計靈感源於中西醫哲學與水墨藝術，將傳統與現代融於一體，匠心呈現由資深廚師精心烹調的精緻中菜、手工點心、廣式燒味及時令佳餚；會所於午市期間亦提供商務午餐，滿足賓客多元化的需求。
壹八捌七由專業團隊管理，是舉辦私人宴會、商務午餐及校友活動的理想場地，致力為HKUMed 社群打造溫馨的歸屬感與獨特的用餐體驗。不論是輕鬆悠閒的便捷用餐，還是高雅精緻的餐飲體驗，都能滿足不同活動及用餐需求。
"The 1887" is an exclusive chamber and dining space at HKUMed (Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong), commemorating the founding of the Hong Kong College of Medicine in 1887. It offers staff, students and alumni of HKUMed a refined venue for connection, collaboration, and celebration of their shared legacy.
The restaurant’s design is inspired by the philosophies of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, complemented by elements of ink art. It seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, offering an exquisite menu crafted by experienced chefs, featuring refined Chinese Cuisine, handmade Dim Sum, Cantonese Barbecue, and seasonal specialties. A dedicated business lunch is also available to cater to the diverse needs of guests during the day.
Managed by a professional team, The 1887 is the perfect venue for private events, business lunches, and alumni activities. It is committed to creating a sense of belonging and offering a unique dining experience for the HKUMed community. 「醫脈」二字蘊含深遠的雙重意義，既象徵生命律動的節奏，亦代表醫學知識的交流、匯聚與傳承，不僅展現醫者代代相傳的使命，更彰顯醫學智慧的永續發展。《黃帝內經》所倡導的「飲食養正」理念，結合西方「人如其食」的觀念，在壹八捌七的烹飪藝術中薈萃成「川」，讓菜式承載東西飲食文化的精髓，締造出創意與美味兼具的佳餚。我們將秉持《禮記》中「行穩致遠」的精神，以美食為橋樑，連結學術與生活，攜手躍進前行。

The Current and Inheritance
The concept of The Current and Inheritance carries a profound dual meaning: 脈 (pulse) reflects the rhythm of life’s heartbeat while representing the exchange, convergence, and transmission of medical knowledge, as well as the perpetual advancement of medical understanding.
Inspired by the Huangdi Neijing (The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon) and its philosophy of “nurturing life through balanced diet”, The 1887 blends this ancient wisdom with the modern Western principle - “you are what you eat,” creating a flowing convergence—like a river—of culinary artistry. Our dishes embody the essence of both Eastern and Western food cultures, crafting creations that unite creativity with flavour.
Guided by the enduring principle of “stability and progression” from the Book of Rites, we aim to use cuisine as a bridge that links knowledge with everyday life, striving forward together toward a brighter and more innovative future.

專為所有醫學院教職員、學生及校友而設，提供午市及晚市主餐牌、二人午市套餐及午市手工點心。
Exclusively available to HKUMed staff, students and alumni, offering A la Carte Menu for Lunch & Dinner, Lunch Set for 2 and Dim Sum for Lunch.
宴會 EVENTS & BANQUETS
餐廳配備完善配套及戶外空間，專為滿足賓客舉辦宴會之需求。包場宴會及會議場地租用均設有最低消費要求，並需提前十天預約並繳付訂金。由於場地有限，預約將按先到先得原則處理。

Our restaurant offers a welcoming and versatile space with an alfresco area for guests to host banquets and business gatherings. Please note that minimum spends apply for private events and exclusive use of function space. Reservations and deposits are required.
Space is limited. Bookings should be made 10 days in advance on a first-come-first-served basis. For detailed information regarding venue facilities, seating capacity, and minimum spending requirements, please feel free to contact us.

吳俊謙師傅 擁有二十年精湛廚藝資歷，曾掌勺於香港頂尖餐飲殿堂，包括凱悅酒店集團「沙田18」及萬豪國際集團「萬豪金殿」等星級食府。多次參與本地及國際廚藝競賽，憑藉卓越技藝屢獲殊榮。專精粵菜與外省菜系，深諳傳統烹飪精髓，同時具備創新思維。現任 [壹八捌七] 行政主廚，主理廚房營運及菜式研發，將其豐富的五星級酒店經驗融入會所餐飲，為賓客呈現融合經典與創新的精緻中菜饗宴。
Chef Chun-Him NG, with two decades of distinguished culinary experience, Chef Ng has helmed the kitchens at Hong Kong's most prestigious dining establishments, including Hyatt Regency's "Shatin 18" and Marriott's "Man Ho Chinese Restaurant". His exceptional skills have earned him numerous accolades in local and international culinary competitions. A master of Cantonese and regional Chinese cuisines, Chef Ng possesses profound traditional knowledge coupled with innovative vision. As Executive Chef of The 1887, he leads kitchen operations and menu development, bringing his five-star hotel expertise to club dining with refined Chinese culinary creations that artfully blend tradition and innovation.

1. 餐廳接待對象：只限香港大學醫學院教職員、學生、校友及瑪麗醫院職員使用。用餐或場地使用當日，必須攜同及出示職員證、學生證或舊生證，並親自出席
2. 如欲惠顧，請先預約
3. 自攜蛋糕並於餐樓內享用，需收取$100/個切餅費
4. 請勿於餐廳內享用外來食物及飲品
5. 颱風及極端情況之營業安排：

當黑雨訊號懸掛，餐廳會於有限度的情況下繼續營業

極端情況、8號或以上颱風訊號懸掛，餐廳暫停營業

如極端情況、8號或以上的颱風訊號於早上10時前除下，餐廳將照常營業

如極端情況、8號或以上的颱風訊號於下午3時前除下，餐廳晚市將恢復營業

如極端情況、8號或以上的颱風訊號於下午3時後除下，餐廳晚市將暫停營業

週一至週六 (星期日及公眾假期休息)

1. The restaurant exclusively caters to the teaching staff, students, alumni of HKUMed and the staff.

2. Advance reservations are required for dining at the restaurant.
3. A cakeage fee of $100 per cake will be charged for bringing and consuming own cake in the restaurant.
4. Outside food and drinks are not allowed to be consumed in the restaurant.
5. Operating Arrangements during Typhoon and Extreme Conditions:

The restaurant will remain open with limited service when the Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted.

When Extreme Conditions, Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher is hoisted, the restaurant will be closed.

If Extreme Conditions, Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher is lowered before 10:00 AM, the restaurant will resume normal operations.

If Extreme Conditions, Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher is lowered before 3:00 PM, the restaurant will resume dinner operations.

If Extreme Conditions, Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher is lowered after 3:00 PM, the restaurant's dinner service will be suspended.
